Protection of Human Rights and Freedom from Abuse and Neglect

Careseekers respects and works to protect your human rights when you are using the Careseekers platform.

We are committed to making sure you are not exposed to abuse, neglect or exploitation when using the Careseekers platform.

We will do this by:

  • Maintaining a process of recruiting and onboarding new care and support worker procedures to a high standard including;
    • Criminal background check screenings
    • Referee checks
    • Comprehensive onboarding process
    • Formal induction process for all disability support workers registered with the Careseekers platform;
  • Respond promptly, sensitively and professionally to any instances of abuse or neglect reported to us. If the matter is considered to be a serious incident, we will report it to the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.

We want you to:

  • Give us feedback and raise any concerns you have about the platform or workers on the platform.
  • We know that raising these issues can be difficult and encourage you to have a support person assist you to raise concerns with us.
